The men and women of Rockland County PBA are strong, motivated, and courageous law enforcement professionals.

Rockland County is a quaint, quiet, and safe place to live and to raise a family. Some may believe this is natural or “just the way it is here”. Unlike Rockland’s beautiful foliage and views of mountain and the Manhattan skyline, Rockland’s attractiveness and safe neighborhoods are not natural but a direct effect of the hard work and dedication of the Members of the RCPBA.

Our members patrol the neighborhoods they live in, they grew up in, have friends and family living in or have grown to call home. Our members are extremely dedicated to keeping the community safe and secure. Our members work around the clock, most in single officer patrol vehicles, with one officer covering large densely populated patrol areas. Our members respond to calls for service that range from homicides, shootings, assaults, missing persons, serious medical and motor vehicle accidents to residents who just need a friendly smile and helping hand. No matter the call, the residents of Rockland get what they need. Our members do it all and sometimes in the same day. Police work in Rockland is unique and greatly rewarding.

The RCPBA serves our members as a labor organization but also as a benevolent and fundraising organization. While serving our members, we are also honored to be an organization that is called upon when anyone needs help outside of our typical police duties. We raise and donate money to families in need, participate in numerous toy drives, provide scholarships, and offer our time and resources to help our community. We are dedicated to bettering the police profession and promoting the positive work law enforcement does here in Rockland and across the country.

I personally want to thank each member, past and present, for their hard work, dedication, and service. I would also like to thank all our loyal supporters and you for visiting our page. It is my honor to serve as RCPBA President and I thank you for visiting our site. Please feel free to explore it and contact us with any questions.

Sincerely,

Larry Ayers

President
