● Discipline Bill - 05/18/2006
This legislation amends §201.4 of the Civil Service Law (CSL) to make public
employee discipline a mandatorily negotiable term and condition of employment.
The legislation would also amend §204-a of the CSL to ensure that any provisions
pertaining to discipline contained within agreements or interest arbitration
awards between public employers and public employee organizations continue to be
valid and enforceable.
